Glen Innes Darts League 2020 Competition Rules
Team names and dates must be clearly identified at the top of the team sheet.
Players names must be clearly identified throughout the sheet with full names listed at the bottom of the sheet.
High scores and peg outs must be recorded on lines provided at the bottom of the sheet. If not recorded on the sheets, scores will not be recorded at a later date.
If any players are on the same double at the end of a game and are unable to finish (with both players and captains approval) the players must go “ NO BUST” , (players continue shooting after a larger score has been hit.)
Ensure final scores are correct at the end of the night.
Both captains are to sign off on final scores at the bottom of the sheet.
New players must pay registration on the night of play. Full names and a contact phone number must be written clearly on the back of the sheet.
Completed score sheets signed by both captains must be at the Imperial Hotel within 48 hours of round completion. Penalty deduction of 2 points ( doubled for repeat offences) if not handed in by this time.
Protests or complaints must be in writing and handed to the secretary within 7 days of occurrence. It will be reviewed by the committee, the decision will be final at the committees discretion.
A meeting will be held on the last Thursday of each month, dates will be on the draw. ONE registered player from each team must attend each meeting or the offending team/s will have 2 points deducted (double for repeat offences) for non attendance.
In the event of a forfeit, the forfeiting team will receive 0 points and the non- forfeiting team will receive a full value of 9 point. To receive points the non-forfeiting team must pay the game fee of $20 before the 48 hours. 3 or more forfeits and the team will be excluded from the competition.
$10 registration fee per player must be paid on the night of first games. $20 per team per night is to be placed in an envelope with the game sheet, with team name clearly written on the front.
Scorers will be provided in alternate games by both teams, home team scores first game.
If an unregistered player is played without paying registration, game wins for that player will be forfeited.
Once registered with a team, no player transfers are allowed without committee approval.
Publicans can rotate between teams nominated by their venue, requiring only registration with one team. This is for publicans only.
To be eligible for the banquet and finals, players must of played at least 5 games.
The away team bulls up first, the winner of the bull commences the game, loser of the bull starts the second game.
There is to be no player other than the scorer in front of the Oche line while a game is in progress.
If the darts are pulled out of the board before the scorer has scored it, it will be put back to a 0.
It is the players responsibility to ensure that they are aiming for the correct peg out. If a peg out score error is made, regardless of what the scorer has said, it reverts back to the score.
When shooting for bull if the darts bounces out, the player gets another shot.
When shooting for bull, if the dart lands on any scoring number it counts, even outside triple ring.
Any game on game night is NOT to go to a no bust unless both players are on X1, and both the captains and players shooting have agreed.
Whichever team wins the competition, is to hold the banquet at their venue unless specified by the publican that they are unable to hold it their.
The minimum age to play is 16.
